Women Discipling Women

Meet the leaders who'll bring a discipleship culture to your church or conference.

Brittany Collins - Glendale, AZ

Brittany Collins married her husband, Torrey, in 2019, and together they are raising a beautiful blended family of four teenagers in Glendale, Arizona. As a wife and mother, Brittany is passionate about seeing women grow in their relationship with Christ through intentional discipleship and authentic community.

In 2021, God introduced their family to one-to-one disciple-making through Randy Holland, founder of Be1Make1, who was discipling Torrey when their family entered one of the most difficult and uncertain seasons they had ever experienced. Looking back, Brittany sees God's hand in the timing of that relationship. Through Randy's faithful investment in Torrey, God provided wisdom, encouragement, and spiritual leadership that helped guide their family through the storm. What could have been a season that pulled them apart instead became a season that strengthened their marriage, deepened their faith, and drew their family closer to the Lord.

As Brittany witnessed the impact of discipleship in her own home, she developed a deep passion to see other women experience the same blessing. Watching God work through intentional disciple-making not only drew her closer to the Lord but also revealed the incredible power of investing in others through Christ-centered relationships.

Recognizing a need for women to be connected through intentional discipleship, Brittany became one of the founding leaders of Be1Make1 Ladies. Since then, she has been committed to personally discipling women, equipping others to disciple faithfully, and encouraging believers to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) through meaningful relationships that point people to Jesus.

Brittany's heart is to see women experience the joy of walking closely with Christ, growing in spiritual maturity, and helping others do the same. Her life mission is to see families around the world changed by love because women have been inspired to pursue discipleship and allow their lives to be transformed by God. Her prayer is that every woman would know the blessing of being discipled and be empowered to disciple others.

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.”
2 Timothy 2:2

Kim Bain - Tampa, FL

Kim Bain is a sun-soaker from Tampa Florida who is currently serving as the Manager of Loft 181, a clothing boutique serving teen girls in foster care and victims of human trafficking.

In 2022, Kim married the coolest guy she knows, Lyn Bain, a Canadian from Ontario who loves the snow and serves in full time ministry. She also proudly wears the title of “World’s Funnest Aunt” to her 14 nieces and nephews. By the hair of her chinny-chin-chin, Kim graduated from Southwestern Seminary with an MDiv and she is living proof that anyone can make it through seminary! Through her papers and lectures and tears she discovered an insatiable love for God’s Word and a passion for teaching others the treasures contained in it. Her heart is to see the Kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven. She has been privileged to serve the local church in various roles for 15+ years.

Kim would describe herself as a people-lover, tea-drinker, carb-loader, story-gatherer and would love to pull up a chair right next to you and soak in your God-story.  Her favorite phrase is “well, that sounds like fun” and if yours is too, we’re gonna be good friends!
